Acme has added to its popular DJ Scanners with the Genesis Scan. This new high performance scanner sells for only a little more than its halogen rivals yet includes a powerful 20 Watt LED which is good for 30,000 hours of use and has a light output comparable to a 250W halogen lamp.
Each scanner is provided with a manual lens for focusing the beams from its gobo wheel featuring 8 gobos + open and separate colour wheel with 8 colours which produces sharp projected images. Although the light source is only 20 Watts, the optics mean that the output is deceivingly bright.
Control modes include selectable fast and slow built-in programmes, activated by the music along with DMX mode programmable via any universal DMX controller or the CA-8 for Master/Slave linking with 3 different functions.
Like the other scanners from Acme it is an affordable, easy-to-use DMX scanner that give mobile DJs the ability to take a lightweight and professional-looking intelligent light show on the road.
