NXL 14-A is the most compact active speaker in the professional NXL series. It features two 6” woofers in a symmetrical configuration and the new 1.75” Precision Transducers PKX driver loaded on a rotatable TRW waveguide, all powered by a 2,100W two-channel amplifier. Available in black or white finish, the NXL 14-A is designed to deliver definition, power, and portability in any live application. Perfect for vocal reproduction, ideal in compact live systems paired with SUB Series subwoofers, in immersive setups, or as a fill speaker.

The most powerful amplifier in its class. RCF’s improvements in transducer design make them stronger and more powerful. With 2,100W of power, the NXL MK2 2-channel Class-D amplifier is 50% more powerful than previous models. NXL manages extreme sound pressure levels with an ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response, and very low power loss. NXL modules are energy efficient, so there’s no need for a cooling fan. The amplifier is attached to a solid aluminum heat exchanger at the rear of the enclosure, which has no moving parts. The input circuit features a new low-distortion design with an advanced safety limiter, maintaining the true character of the input signal at all levels. All NXL amplifiers are designed according to EN62368-1 for maximum safety and house a Switch Mode Power Supply section with minimum weight.

The 1.75″ compression driver features a newly developed dome made of PKX (Modified Polyether Ether Ketone). PKX is a rigid yet lightweight colorless organic polymer. It is possibly the best of the thermoplastic resin films for their specification in audio applications. Developed by the RCF Precision Transducers laboratory and enhanced with reinforcing ribs for high-performance slim dome designs, this new compression driver offers greater precision and reliability.
The dual woofer configuration features two 6” neodymium woofers designed for robust bass performance. The cone is crafted from water-resistant fiber-doped material, ensuring durability and consistent sound quality in various environments. It also includes a polycotton M-roll surround which enhances its efficiency and overall audio output. Additionally, the hypervented magnetic structure allows for better cooling and improved power handling, resulting in a clearer and more reliable sound reproduction.

Symmetrically aligned transducers ensure coherent wavefront projection and smooth response, providing consistent directional control in both horizontal and vertical orientation. The rotatable 100º x 70º waveguide produces precise, constant coverage. This special configuration allows for excellent control of directional characteristics, significantly increasing intelligibility in difficult acoustic environments.

With internal factory-tuned crossover presets for NXL 14-A, your sound system is show-ready in a few easy steps. Simply connect your speakers to the SUB AX, select the crossover preset from the user interface, and you are ready to go. FiRPHASE linear phase is extended to match the subwoofer phase down to the lowest frequencies.
Available in 15” and 18” models, SUB AX subwoofers deliver earth-shaking bass (up to 135 dB) with pristine clarity by combining powerful 2200-Watt Class-D amplifiers with high-power, long-excursion transducers. Featuring stereo crossovers, 8-band EQs, delays, factory-tuned crossover presets, a color touch panel, and remote control via Bluetooth®, the SUB AX lets you tailor your live sound effortlessly. Built for the road with a rugged design and cardioid configuration option, the SUB AX is the perfect solution for powerful, solid bass on the go.
With multiple rigging accessories and the unobtrusive form factor of the cabinet, NXL 14-A is suitable for a wide range of configurations including hanging, pole-, truss-, wall- or ceiling-mounting— at any angle in horizontal or vertical orientation. The rotatable waveguide (and rotatable logo) allows for perfect dispersion control at any position.
Rigging the speaker is quick and straightforward. The convenient Quick Fit socket at the top and bottom of the enclosure allows for rapid attachment to accessories. No matter the setup, you’ll always find a spot for the NXL 14-A.

When searching for an extended bass with enhanced performance, RCF engineers found a way to remove the high-pass filter, replacing it with a forward-thinking approach. Introducing BMC (Bass Motion Control), the newly advanced woofer excursion management feature. The speaker equipped with BMC can handle the lowest audible frequencies without affecting the woofer stability, with extended linearity and better sound integrity.
The BMC method works by creating a complete map of the dynamic behavior of the woofer, to generate a custom algorithm that only limits over-excursions. This gives total freedom of signal reproduction to the transducer. When high-pass filters normally protect the woofer motion from becoming destructive but change the phase behavior, the new BMC algorithm breaks conventional rules.
